Course Description

Mandatory Lineworker Training Program Physical Assessment

Students must register using the same profile created for attending an information session. The cost to participate is $100 and nonrefundable after 5 business days prior to the registered date. Students will need to dress warm enough and wear long pants, long sleeves, and boots. You do not need actual climbing boots at this time, but you do need to wear boots you can climb in. All other equipment needed will be provided for your use. You will complete various tasks involving climbing the pole and a ladder, carrying objects, and using different tools. No experience is required, but you must be willing and able to learn and participate. Passing the assessment is required in order to be eligible to apply to the Lineworker program.
