Course Description

In this course, you will learn the basic process of making this slightly sweet, fluffy French white bread. The dough itself has many applications; we will make some plain pain de mie (perfect for grilled cheese and French toast), soft dinner rolls, and cinnamon rolls. This bread is perfect for learning the basic skill of baking bread from scratch: preparing ingredients, mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking.

Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes and bring a hat and apron to class.
