PE126 - Magic Mosaic Lanterns

Course Description

Step into the world of mosaic art with our hands-on Mosaic Lantern Workshop - a two-part class where you'll transform a lantern using glass into a magical light art piece that shines with colorful shadows and enchanting orbs for years to come.

In the first session, you will master the basics and learn essential techniques to cut, score, and assemble glass pieces. Using our massive glass selection, you will have total creative freedom as you choose from our diverse selection of see-through stained glass, glass tiles, and marbles to design the lantern of your dreams.

These lanterns will be assembled to be outdoor-ready. Your lantern will be perfect for illuminating your garden or patio all year long.

In the second session, we will handle the finishing touches. You will discover how to grout your lantern with the grout color of your choice to enhance its mosaic beauty and ensure long lasting success in the outdoors and in the winter elements.

You can use our supplied white lanterns or bring your own of any color for a custom look.

No prior experience is necessary. Prepare to be amazed when you light your finished lantern and watch as your mosaic creation casts its magical glow!

A supply fee of $20 is payable to the instructor in class.
