Course Description

In this course, you will learn hands-on how to make traditional puff pastry; Pâte Feuilletée. First, we will make the pastry. Then, we will create a savory application; a flammekueche (cheesy flat pastry with ham, onions, and crème fraiche) and a sweet one; Mille-feuille au chocolat (layers of puff pastry with chocolate crème, caramel, and coffee). Once you have these recipes and experience, you can impress your friends and family next time you have a food gathering. You won't want to miss this learning experience!

Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes and bring a hat and apron to class.
