Course Description

In this course, we will make a few different types of tartelettes, starting with making a base tart dough. We will discuss the differences between tart doughs (or Pâte, in French). These sweet treats are a common dessert found in French bakeries and around the world. We will make two types of fruit tarts: a lemon cream tart with a white chocolate ganache montée, and yuzu glazed raspberries; and an apricot tart with pecan whiskey frangipane. This course will also focus on tart decoration techniques. Your friends and family will be impressed when you make these special French tartelettes for them!

Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes and bring a hat and apron to class.
